Default POR-20 ON INTAKE

Considering using POR-20 on new weiand intake. Pro's and con's?

i'd stay away from it...i tried it on my headers and it bubbled up bad..looks terrible.

I put standard POR-15 on my intake, valve covers, air filter housing of my '93 pickup two years ago...still looks great!

Just make sure you prep the surface properly. It won't stick at all to oil,grease,paint ....
Follow the directions, and it should be fine.

The bubbled POR-20 sounds weird to me. I know others here on the forum
have used it successfully on cast exhaust manifolds. Can headers get that
much hotter ?


EDIT

Pros : metal will be protected well from the elements
Cons: price, it may turn yellowish over time due to UV, letting it dry on your skin.
