Check with 542C2, he has a backhavled 69, full tube frame he wants to sell. Made for going in a staight line

Very interesting! I wonder, where does the gas tank go? Above those tubes at the rear? If so, you need to remove the body to change the tank (if ever a problem...).

Sweet ... but then you need a C4 donor car for all the suspension.
I guess that's the only advantage - C4 suspension, since the tube frame doesn't look much lighter than the stock one.
I'll stick with my restored box frame for now.

it probably won't be lighter but it sure will be a hell of a lot stiffer than the stocker.

:seeya That is a cool frame he also get's them powder coated. He seems to use that style frame for all his Classic (C1-C2) build ups that he does from scratch. :yesnod: The new building and shop is really awesome. :thumbs: So if you are ever get a chance to come to the Charleston, SC area you should drop by their shop. :cheers:
