New to C3, not new to the Forum
Hello all, I’m new here, with regards to C3’s, but have been around the forum for a few years. Haven’t posted allot lately, as I sold my 2001 Vert back in July of 2002. I hung out mostly in C5 tech & general.
I just bought a 73 Coupe, L-48, THM 400 with 3:36 gears, Classic White with Medium Saddle tan interior. The car is a stock, numbers matching beauty with 59,800 on the clock. It’s been recently painted and had new exhaust just done.
Man, do I love this car! For me, the C3 is the classic embodiment of what is Corvette. As a kid growing up (I’m 45) this is the body style I’ve always loved. The Corvette was always the pinnacle car for me. I’ve had other muscle cars, including a 76 455 TA, 72 454 Monte Carlo, and then more recently a 96 Impala SS. The transgression to a C5 was inevitable, and I enjoyed that car immensely. But it’s great to be back in a Vette, especially one that means so much to me from my days as a kid drooling over them.
As soon as I get pictures uploaded, and figure out how I did it before, I will. I know there’s been some changes here, and if anyone has any tips on how to get some pic’s up quickly, I’m all ears.
It’s great to be back baby!

Welcome back to the forum. Glad to have you in the C3 crowd too. Sounds like you may have gotten a really nice 73. There have been a lot of 73 showing up on here lately so, you are in good company. Have fun with your new toy.

mjager,
congrats on the C3. I also started out with a C5 (98 coupe-still have it) and picked up a 79 C3 a couple of months ago. I love driving them both, for different reasons. Enjoy the 73

Welcome! I just did the same thing. I'm 44 & started out with a couple C4's, then a C5, back to a C4, and just bought a '73 coupe (but kept my '86).
