This is the kind of "death spiral" spending that a new paint job will cause :lol: Once you get a bright new shiny paint job on the car you start to realize "those old emblems look like crap against the new paint" or "the side mirror is a little pitted, may as well buy a new one" etc. :D

LOL!!! Shannon is right. I went ahead and ordered all new emblems, had the bumpers rechromed, new door handles, new mirrors, and new locks. Now I am thinking that since you can't just buy the correct ones for a 70, I am going to get the original front grills replated. New ones cost a boat load. Rechroming the old ones has got to be cheaper. :confused:

Eddie: That is what made me buy new ones. Plating was gonna be close to the cost of new ones and take 4-6 weeks. I am an impatient fool.
