Need help with ZZ4 and Demon Carb?
ok......thanks to LARS, and his great posts, I think I have the 79 running much better than before. I have a zz4 with the Speed Demon 650 Dbl pumper and here is my latest problem.
As car is warming up, it has a tendancy to 'miss' as you acclerate hard.
Once the car hits 180, miss goes away? Im preplexed...am I mssing something here. I do have an electric choke, could that be playing into this?
New plugs, coil and HEI module......any advice is appreciated

sounds like your choke is not pulling of early enough. you should be able to get it to pull of before the temp even reads on the guage. don't even bother getting ahold of the barry grant tech email line. i tried and it took them a week just to tell me i need to call for my problem. hell, by then i already figured it out.

I had the same problem. I have a Holly 750 dubble pumper with mech. seconderies on my ZZ4. First the manual chock cable was out of ajustment. Second, was a miss at mid to high RPM. secondery jets were 80's from Holly. I changed them to 78's and she pulls all the way across the board now. :steering: :hurray: :hurray: Keep us posted
