VIN# question....................
Ok looking at this now I am going to be building 95% of a new 79 vette.....as funny as that sounds.......I know it may not be worth the investment don't need to hear that, it's something I want to do............so the VIN#.
What VIN will I use if I am talking about a new bird cage......with a different frame........would I use the VIN from the frame or the VIN on the new cage? Or is there some way to get another VIN......any help would be appreciated!

the vin that the state goes by is the one on the birdcage or on the bottom of the windsheild. the vin on the frame is useless :chevy

hmm ok so theoretically if i were to get a cage without a VIN on i could take the tag off the piece of crap cage I have and put it on the next one if it didn't have it.

Make sure you attach any VIN tag as it would have been originally; i.e., if it was rivited in place, use rivets! A tag that's held down by screws but would have originally been rivited is likely to receive unwanted attention... :nonod:
