Come on over Sunday for front end rebuild @ NHvette
Any interested folks are welcome to come over to my place on Sunday.
Dennis (pra4sun) will be bringing his 70 vert down for a major front suspension rebuild.
He has the rubber kit, so we will basically:
- remove front springs/control arms
- replace ball joints, bushings, tie rod ends, idler arm
- reinstall refurbished control arms
- do a crude front end alignment
We will be doing this in Brookline NH - just west of Nashua.
Anyone is welcome to come down and help or just watch.
Corvettes park for free :D
All others bring burgers or beer. :yesnod:
Send me an email if interested/need directions dave@ NHvette.com

Well, I did mine slowly over the off-season, too.
I have learned MUCH from my experiences and more from reading everyone
elses.
I have decided to follow Lar's paper on this.
YUP - we'll have it all done in a day.
Anyone local ?? This weekend ....

Maybe me??
I'd like to watch & learn...but I gotta cram a bunch of little projects in over the weekend to prepare for the upcoming NCRS meet May 1...
I was planning on attending the Amherst swap meet this Sunday too...all depends on how much I get done on Sat though.

Hey Dave,
Not sure yet, I'm suppossed to be helping my brother at his condo in Franconia. Maybe I'll stop bye on the ride home (altough I won't have the vette). I'll keep you posted.
BTW, I found the drain on my battery. The :mad washer moter was stuck on and has since fried.

I know that you are fast Dave but you better start early if he is going to drive it home. I would like to come Sunday but I am going out to look at mini vans. Tracy is pregnant so we need a bigger vehicle. I have the carb off of the Vette right now. Both accelerator pumps were leaking. This kills my plan for not spending any money on the Vette this year. I think that the rebuild kit for the carb is about 40.00. Are you playing poker this Friday night?

75% done ... and one stubborn control arm still on the car.
The wife thinks it's nice to have a complete vette sitting in the driveway.
I'm not sure if that's a dig on me, or her approval for me to finish mine up.
Don't worry, Tony ... the season just started.
A couple guys stopped by ... Don - adamdinat with the 79 L82 and
Mark - mpro72vette with his 72 LT1, now with an AR motor.
Sadly, we will be losing one of our locals. Mark told us that he has sold his
house and will be moving to Florida next month.

Thanks for all the help so far, Dave.
What a learning experience this has been.
BTW: Dave's frame is complete and it is sweet!
Rear end is installed, stainless steel brake lines, and it's rolling!
