Started on the paint job
Started laying the PPG Sealer and Primer. I have to say that i wouldn't have tried this if it wasn't for the guys here. I am alittle nervous with the gun but so far this are going smooth. I think the hardess part is try not to make a mess when mixing the paint  . Well i have block sanding to do and another coat of K36 then it will be time to lay the bc/cc. Thanks again to lars for his paper it make it allot less stressfull walking into the paint store.

Looks like you're coming along just fine!
And yes, mixing paint as well as cleaning the gun and cups etc. is the biggest pain and never gets mentioned in any "how-to" books. :yesnod: :yesnod: So don't feel too bad. I still have trouble too and always end up getting paint on my hands. Go to any body shop though, and you can tell who the painters are!

Will we see this car at the Corvette Convention in Edmonton later this year?

Re: Started on the paint job (garandfan)
Thanks for the support guys.
75ZZ4 - when in Edmonton it the corvette convetion, if I can I will be there for shure.
FLVetteNut - Lars paper is under Tools, Tech Tips, C3. I have followed it so far and things are going smooth. Don't be affrais to ask Questions as there is allot of people willing to help. There is allot if you use the search fuction also.
I will post pics soon as i should be spraying the base/clear in a 5 days if all goes well. The hard part is picking the color. I think I will go Millennium Yellow but the Flame Orange is also a great color. 3 days left to make my mind up. :banghead:
