I'm wanting to order the 6 inch rally wheels from Jegs but has anyone ever done this. Backspace is 4 inches but I'm just wondering about the quality and fit of these wheels Jegs sells.

Buy my 15x8 rallyes. I just put on some new wheels and need to get rid of the old ones. The tires have about a third or more of the tread left.

WHY would you want to run 6" rims?

15x8 was stock, don't go below that.....

I have to ask the same question: why would you put 6" wheels on a 1979 Corvette? From 1969 to 1982 the wheels were 8".

My wheels are just prefect, but I'm using a set of 15x8 for mounting slicks, and want something 15x6 for the front (only on race day). The stock 8's are much too wide for 1/4 mile. I could go much skinner but still wanna try to maintain as close to stock look as possible. Will make the front just a bit lighter and a touch more areo than stock.
