Possible New Owner Soon...
Hello Everyone, my name is Mike, and i think i have found a pretty good car. Its a 1980, The car is black, with a new black interior, T-Tops, a new 350 Crate motor, auto trans., and no rust or anything for like 6500. Im gonna be takin a look at it in a few days. Is there anything that i should look out for that is common for these cars??
Any and all input would be great...
Thanks alot.. Mike
(Btw i have a 78 Trans am... so i know a little bit about cars)

I'm sure most of us would agree that a rusted frame is the hardest to see and the most expensive to fix. The most obvious place to look is in the front of the rear wheel well where the frame comes up. It would be best if you took someone with you that knew something about C3's.

Welcome!!!
you should also look at the birdcage, look around the windshield and in the door wells you can also take the panel off on the side off the interior below the dashpad
there you see apart of the bircage thats used to be rusty.
alson look if the doors are ok look under them
and as said above before the rear tires is a place there the rust can be heavy.
look also on the body mounts, they can be rotten away from the frame!
take some pics off it and post here if you have any questions!
