Best Exterior color to Match Grey Interior

Best Exterior color to Match Grey Interior
I have a Two-tone light grey on dark grey exterior currently, but it needs repainting do to the years of wear on my 81. The interior is silver and I was considering painting it a different color, due to the fact that someone has the exact color on the same car down my block and I'd like a different color anyhow. What color would match a grey interior well besides Grey? Thank you.

I'd say a burgundy exterior would be a good colour to compliment your interior!

Black has my vote too. Although I have a friend with an 81 and it has a 78 Pace Car paint job on it with grey interior and it looks great.

I was going to say a dark charcoal; kind of Steel Cities Gray. Black always looks good, but a pain to maintain if its a driver.

How about Corvette Tan, Frost Beige, or Dark Brown? They would all look dyn-o-mite with a silver interior. :U :jester
I think a dark blue, dark metallic grey, or black would be your best choice. It if were be. I'd find a nice medium dark blue to paint it.

I have an 81 with silver/grey interior, and Charcoal metalic paint. looks good I think. Other than that, then Steel Cities Grey or Black would be next.

Black, red, or silver would work with grey.
My truck is turquoise with a grey interior. That is one color I have not seen on a C3. The color is most often seen on 55-57 Chevy's.

I would vote for red....I think Corvettes look the best in red. A grey interior would look nice ! Black interior would be better though.

Is steel cities grey a dark grey color? :confused: If so, that is what i was going to say, but i agree black would be sweet, and so would a midnight blue, or an evergreen(really dark green metallic-type stuff). Can you tell i don't know my color names, lol.
