How much tension is needed on the spring? With my regulator out of the door and in the down position the spring rivet (the piece that holds the center of the spring) slot is horizontal, the spring dog (the piece that the outer spring end catches) is at eight o’clock and the outer spring end is at one o’clock (in the relaxed position). This is a little over 90 degrees of spring wind-up is this enough?
