Exhuast Options for True Duals on an '82??
Before I wrecked my car I was running true duals, but I'm redoing the exhuast now because it was bent up pretty badly in the wreck. I'm running Hooker full-length headers into 2.5" tubes. The problem on the driver's side of an '82 is that where the driver's seat mounts to the body is lower to make room for the electric adjustable seat. Last time I ran the pipe between the tranny crossmember and tranny oil pan (like stock). I'm sure it affected the temp. of the transmission fluid not to mention restricted the exhuast. Is there any way to run the driver's side straight back on an '82 instead of going around the seat bottom and transmission crossmember??

Might considering getting one of BTO's tubular crossmember which would allow for true duals in a stock like configuration except no crossmember to go through.
