Default rear differential spacers for carrier on 1976

I am changing the ring and pinion in my 1976 . When we took the rear end apart one of the spacers between the diff. carrier bearing race and the cace was broken. Can't find any place to buy new one's. What about salvage yard. Can anyone help with this problem. Thank you

You don't reuse the orignal cast spacers for this reason. All the rebuild kits come with new steel spacers and shims, bearings, gaskets, marking compound, loctite, and bolts. You can buy a kit or contact one of the suppliers for the spacers. look in the back of CHP magazne for a 1/2 dozen places.
