Any info on the new Tremec TKO 500 & 600?
Does anyone know anything about Tremec's new TKO 500 and 600? How much it is, where you can get one, and will it be a direct bolt in that outdoes the Keisler unit? It's supposed to have a "GM" shift plate that allows you to offset the shifter location by 2". Is this enough to fit in our C3's in the stock shifter location?
Here's more info for those that haven't heard about it:

Re: Any info on the new Tremec TKO 500 & 600? (tshort)
I spoke to a tremec dealer nearby about 2/3 weeks ago ,,,,,,,, he told me at that time that there was a problem fitting the new first gear into the trans case . He thought perhaps there would have to be a new case designed and built for the new unit . He told me to expect a lengthly delay . He also pointed out that he has been running a 3550 behind his 9 second 800 horse stang for a long time with no problems .
