I have used the GM stuff. Its worked fine for me.

For two quarts and a bottle of additive its about $25.

What is a good rear diff fluid and additive?


Lubricant: GM SAE 80W-90, 1#1052271 (GM Specification 9986115)

Additive: GM Limited Slip Differential Lubricant Additive, P/N 1052358

Both available at your Chevy dealer.

Sta-Lube 80W90 and a tube of Equa-Torque. Works for me.
