Default those with earlier C3's, or anyone who may know...storage space?

I was curious, how much storage space do you have below the rear deck behind your seats? Do you find that you wish you had more space like the coupes of the latter C3's or do you like it the way it is?

very very little!! :) But I don't very often go on overnight trips, nor do I go to the grocery store. Also, even less space back there with convertible top down. I have heard of using the spare tire holder for storage space on longer road trips. Obvious downside is you are on a roadtrip without a spare. MJ

if I'm guessing about half as much as the latter C3s am i right? Would you rather have a solid rear glass or a shortie removable one.........?

The space is small.

If you are an organized packer you can get tons of stuff in there; including the storage compartments.

I really do not use vettes for hauling much! :skep:

Between the wheel-wells is 36", above the wheel wells is 46"
Top to bottom under the rear glass is 12.5" A little higher behind the window trim.
From the back up to the seats is 26"
So, add it up and you have about 12792 cubic inches.

Like it the way it is. The factory even saved weight by leaving out the glovebox on 68-77. I have always checked on how much luggage g/fs have before taking the Corvette to pick up at the airport. If they carry too much luggage, get another g/f.

I second that. It forces the wife to be minimal with packing in the event we take a trip.
