Default Power steering question

How do I Identify if I have power steering or not. I know there is no pump. and its a pain in the butt to turn. But how do I know if my car just had the pump removed?

PS cars have a control valve and different relay rod then a manual car. Look behind the left tire to see if you have the control valve connected to the steering box pitman arm.

The following two scans show the power steering hoses associated with the control valve, power steering pump, and booster cylinder. It should give you a good idea as to the parts involved with power steering.
