Default How come no one piece intake gasket?

Why is there not one? Seems a no brainer to me. :confused:

I agree. I have thought about this before and wondered the same thing. Could be because there are so many different combinations of intake and heads. Aluminum and steel. :confused:

No one uses the gasket part in the front and back vallleys, notorious for leaks here because the gap can be so different from motor to motor depending on intake style, whether the heads were milled, block decked etc.

ust got a Flepro intake gasket and it comes with the two pieces for the front and rear and they tell you not use them and use a bead of silicone instead :lol:
