I'm in Love Again! Winter is Finished
I have not seen my car since last October. I picked it up today from a commercial storage facility after winter storage. Wow! What a feeling! The chambered exhaust spit out carbon but a bit of a highway blast took care of that. It runs just fine. I cannot descibe in words how wonderful the feeling is. Without going too far off colour it is almost ... well I won't go in that O/T direction.
I took some pics but as I stated earlier I cannot upload them to my Forum Home Page. That thread was deleted for some reason unknown to me and not explained. And the problem has not been resolved. I had hoped to show Members my new seats but I guess that can wait.......
In any case, this is my toy from last summer and let me tell you, it was an org....mic experience to drive it today!

Paul,
Congrats on driving your beautiful '67  I love the sound of my chambered exhaust too.
I "forced" my mechanic to drive my '77 to savor the sweet exhaust notes. He agreed that the sound is very nice without being too loud.

Jeff,
I only drove about 15 miles. Then sat down with every Mother's product available and spent six hours and a few beers working on the car. Spring broke today (~55F) and I just sat and polished - had a beer - sat and polished - had a beer- etc. Very nice afternoon. The Baby's home. I will sleep well tonight!

Wish I could know that feeling. :D
Seriously, congrats on bailing her out and enjoy. It will be October all too soon.

That is so true. But I have my summer priorities lined up. I'm at the double-nickle stage of life and time has a very high value!

Woo Hoo
Congrats Paul, I knew when we hit the 100's last week that it wasn't long before you became a REAL Corvette owner again...
BTW, if you decide to post this in OT, "DO NOT" threaten to trade it off again.

Paul truly a beautiful car! If I had it I would feel the same way, I could just sit and look at it's beauty for hours. Reminds me when I had my 65 coupe back in the mid 70s...I still dream about that car, if only I could go back in time I would pay the $3800 again and keep it this time :banghead:

just on a wild hunch, I found your "lost" thread - it was moved to the help forum... these crazy things happen sometimes! I am planning to go for a little drive today myself! :)

Paul the intierior looks sweet on your vette. Now it would seem you need to run out and pick up something, what was it? Oh well, if you drive around long enough you will remember what it was.
I am still anxiously waiting on my vette. It will make it home someday soon.

Paul, I know what you mean when you said it was hard to go into detail about the feeling you had. This is my second year owning a Vette and my first time getting it back after its winter sleep. To hear the engine again what a feeling it gave me. Next up, to get the Mothers Gold Rush car wash out, wash, then detail!!!
