i need a 30 amp circuit breaker for the power windows in my 77 but no one around here has one with the same connectors so any help would be great

try your local dealer , if you have not come up with one by monday send me a message on this post and i will get you a part number for one , not sure the exact style is still available but i know that gm still offers at least one style that my dealer keeps in stock , thanks vette75406

go to the junk yard, pull one outta a Caravan, right under the hood, easy access

Since current is the issue and not voltage, I have often wondered about mounting a single phase electrical distribution box somewhere convenient, meaning also short wire runs....that leaves the back end of the car out.....
and using household a/c breakers, all clearly marked....hell with fuses...

I have often wondered why that isn't done. Seems you could make them push button meaning it pops straight up when blown and you push it directly down to reset, this would make it more compact than household breakers. :confused:

i just boght one at auto zone, it was hanging in the same isle as all the fuses...

I went to autozone and they do not have the one with the right connector on it the one they have uses the flat slide in leads and the one I need uses the rounded ends like a glass fuse

The gm part number is 2474055 , it is discon but here are a dozen or so dealers accross the country that still have one in stock, you can go to your local dealer have them do a **** case on this part number , they will need your vin number to order it .hope this helps ,vette75406

Got mine from NAPA right off the display rack with the other fuses and electrical stuff! :D
