Bib block with electric cooling fan guys.
I want to go to an electric cooling fan for my big block. What kinds of electric fan setups are you guys running and how do you like it?
My fan shroud is shredded (say that 5 times fast) and a new one is $250 so I figure the electric fan is the way to go????
Thanks in advance!

I'm running the SPAL fans on my '68 with 427/390 - bought them with Aluminum Radiator from Tom Dewitt (GP)... So far its's been pretty cool around here and the fans rarely come on, but when they do come on they seem to pull the temp down in a hurry.
Hopefully it will get warm enough to test this setup soon.

The dual 11"Spals are what I recommend for a big-block, especially if you have AC. Mine never breaks 200F even in stop&go on a 100F day. The spals are truly amazing. There's a reason Lamborghini and Ferrari use spals.

I am running dual Spals with a twist. I have one fan on a 185 degree relay and the other on an adjustable reastat. I can dial in whatever I want. Love the Spals.

I am running dual 16 inch tornado fans. Both fans will not fit so one is high on the outside and one low on the inside.
I definitely need both fans in stop and go traffic, one in slow traffic and none on the open road.
I also run a 3 inch aluminum rad. I never see 200 and like it around 190.

Duall Spall from Dewitts. I had them imported here to Australia. 40+ C temps no probs. Copper Radiator. Loud though.

Thanks everyone. I had doubts that the dual 11" fans would be enough but if they work for everyone else, I'm sure they'll work for me.
