torque thrust wheels, 14" front, 15" rear, does that sound okay?
Hello all,
I was thinking about going with the torque thrust wheels, and i knw a guy who has 2 used 14 x 6 x 4.75, and two 15 x ? x 4.75 . Would the 14" be okay up front?
Thanks,
Matt

 I sure wouldn't. :nono:
Performance tires are hard enough to find in 15".
You'd be stepping down with 14's and 6" width is too small.
15X8 is the norm. A lot of people are stepping up to 16", 17" or larger.

For looks as well as performance stick with wheels that are 8" wide with 4" backspace.

:iagree:
The best tires I could get for 15" (for a sensible price) were T- Rated. You will struggle to find that in a 14". I agree with the comments about the caliper. Look under the car and check out how tight everything is in the wheel area. If you are buying wheels step up to 17" it gives you plenty of tire options and also gives you an opportunity to put on C5 brakes later if you lean that way.

True, I overlooked the caliper clearances. I dont think they would be room with a 14" either. I will pass on the offer, and look for at least 15", or larger.
Thanks,
Matt

Contrary to some - I think it'll be fine ! :yesnod:
I'm running 15x6's on the front and 15x7's in the rear.

The 14" wheel will not work with the stock brake set up!
