Dolly Parton's headlights are...
Brighter than my E-Brake light. Now that I have your attention, surely someone has an answer to this...
OK, I just finished installing new carpet and put interior back together. 1st thing I notice is emergency brake light not working. Take apart center armrest clean contacts on switch, still no light. Take out center instrument panel to access bulb (what a PITA!). Change bulb, still no light. Now use light tester and here comes the gremlin: with ignition on tester lights whether E-brake switch is depressed or not. Put tester on wire at switch and get a faint light when switch is depressed and no light when not depressed. Can anyone explain what's going on and how I can get it working again???
Thanks so much in advance.

Could be the ground side of your bulb is not grounded. It may have battery voltage but without a proper ground path it will not light up. If you don't have electrical schematics get some, they would help you out. Good luck.
