Default Value of my Vette

I'm thinking of selling my '71. How would I go about finding a value for it in the the Michigan area?

My best advice is to do 2 things :

#1 - goto www.nadaguides.com and lookup your car with specific options that need to be checked. It'll give you a good range from low to high retail.

#2 - Search for '68 to '72 vettes in your area with www.collectorcartraderonline.com and compare pricing.

Ultimately it comes down to what someone will pay and how soon you need to sell. Remember that condition is very important. Some cars may seem "cheap" judging by a picture but there's a lot of vettes that have pretty paint jobs & 30 years worth of grime underneath. :yesnod:

You can look at sold cars on Ebay too. Also post a detailed description and people here will give you an opinion.

Okay...
All numbers matching 350/270 4sp, no A/C, telescopic wheel, t-tops, new paint War Bonnet Yellow. New tires, restored original wheels, new stereo, 103,000mi, newer chassis (front and rear-very tight), engine runs great, rebuilt carb. Tach and Wiper door doesn't work. Underbody is in excellent condition, no rust. Interior is in average condition.
Have been told it's a great 'driver' and it's a true 'survivor'.

Around here in the Southeast US, it'd probably be in the $12k to $15k range. It all depends on what "average" condition means on the interior, and how detailed the undercarriage is. Also depends on why the tach and wiper door aren't working. If those are simple fixes, you should get them working before trying to sell the car.
