Thanks to all the members of the forum that posted pics and drawings. This is great, I can work on the car without laying on my backon the floor.

  You should put a board connecting the front two and another one connecting the back two so they don't move when you drive on it. I think i will be building one of these very soon.

What a great idea? I bill of materials would be helpful. I might do this myself! Where do you keep them when they're not in use?

Is there any reason this would not work for a C5? The only thing I could see would be the width of the rails and ramps or perhaps the angle of the ramps.

Please consider my questions and advise me the price to send a set of drawings so I can make my own.

what do you think the max load on this would be? Very nice setup. I'm thinking of building one even thought i have a 2 post lift in my shop. Plust it would let me set up suspension with it under load and make oil changes a breeze.

Those are nice. Only thing about tieing them together, is, you would not be able to use them for other cars if they are not the same width. This would be great for changing oil in the wifes car. Repairing oil pan leaks. Hmmm.....I could go on.

Sorry for the delay I been worken on the vette. sure is alot easier now with the ramps. I got the prints off of the forum, if you need the plans I can scan them and post them for you, just let me know. They are the same ones in the link that is posted but the plans I have are in detail. Let me know if you want me to scan and post.

Silvr77
thanks I like the AR 136's on the C-3 I think they look very good.

WillRace4food
I am not sure what the max load is. When I first saw the plans I also questioned the load capacity but after I built them I realized they are very sturdy.

Eddie70
I tie them together only when I drive the car on, after the car is on the ramps I remove the 2x6's and the under side is wide open.

JakePilot
These will work on your C-5, you may have to make the ramps longer as your car is lower than mine. Just make the ramps long enough so the nose does not hit while driving up the ramps

Neal --

Thanks, but there's plenty enough info here now to do it (it ain't rocket science and I have a really big hammer.) I do appreciate the follow up. I hated crawling under the car with a jack stand holding it up! Starter work was a PITA.
