Best place for thermo switch for Spal fans?
I have everything wired and ready to go except for installing thermo switch. I am not sure of the best place to put it and I was hoping one of you fine forum members could give me advice and maybe a pic.

I used a temp switch screwed into a bung welded into the bolt on neck at the water thermostat.

You wil get lots of different locations, and comments, on this topic. I recommend the passenger side cylinder head, just take out the plug and it's ready to go. If the sensor is smaller than the tapped hole, use an adapter from your local plumbing store (1/2"NPT to 3/8"NPT etc). I don't like the cluttered look on top the engine - just me I guess.
