My underhood light fell off.
Anyone know where I can get the two rubberized fasteners that hold it to the hood? Can find it in any catalogs.

Any good hardware store should have the rubber expanding nuts. I saw them at Home Depot just yesterday in the draws with the hard to find fasteners. You just need to know what size you need. Replaced mine about 5 years ago and don't remember what size I used.

I had this happen on a 1980 Corvette. The light fell off and landed on the alternator and started a fire. It burnt the alternator wiring harrness before I could put it out.
This is a common problem with 77-82 Corvettes.

Thanks everyone, I was wondering since I've never seen them sold anywhere or in any corvette catalogs. I'm headed to lowes or home depot in the morning.
