vibration cured!
From my previous thread you might remember I've been chasing down a vibration problem. While my differential replacement solved many other problems, it did not cure the vibration.
Here is what else I did and the results:
1. New Ujoints..vibration still there
2. Balanced Drive shaft..vibration still there
3. Checked for tailshaft play...none found, vibration still there
4. replaced trans mount (motor mounts done 1 year ago)...vibration still there
5. New rear tires and rebalanced fronts...vibration still there.
New rear tires are 255/60/15 replacing 235/70/15's. They accentuated the negative camber, so I adjusted it so that the tires are vertical with the weight on them. While I was under there, I put my impact on 3/4 torque and hit the front diff mount bold one more time. It didn't move much, so I think it was tight. Seems like the camber adjustment cured the problem.
