Default Radio wiring?

I am installing a custom sound radio and would like to know thw ID of the existing wiring on a 73 vette.

I have a connector with 1 yellow, 1 Black w/grey stripe, 1 grey. Which is the constant power? Which is the switched power and which if any are the ground? I'd check myself but I have no battery installed yet.

I'd like to know this as well. The wiring diagram just shows the connector, and my last wiring harness was bubba'd, so I can't use it for a reference.

Yellow is switched +12 Volts. Black is Ground. Grey is Dial Lite, +12V when the headlights are on.

So there is no constant 12v in the harness? Can I jump a constant 12v from the lghter lead w/o problems such as blowing fuses when stereo and lighter are used together?

Thanks, Todd. Mick, there is an open terminal on the fuse block with a male spade connector labeled "bat" which is constant 12V power if I remember right. I guess the radio light dimmer wire will have to go unused?
