Index for the AIM
This may below in parts wanted but anyway.....
Does anyone have an INDEX for the 1970 AIM?
I don't know if GM produced one but I would like to get my hands on it. All the information is in the AIM but it is very hard to find theinformation when you need it.

Re: Index for the AIM (stingry)
Or the 1972 AIM?
I agree, finding stuff in those is a PITA.
I also don't like the fact that you gotta flip the manual 180 degrees to look at the diagram on the next page.

I thought I was the only one that had a hard time using the manual. If I had a table of contents page for my 1980 that would be cool!

Re: Index for the AIM (stingry)
I built a small one for my AIM by putting color tabs with letters (A,B,C,C1,C2,etc) between the sections and then listing what each tab indexed. My Aim has a mini index on the first page or two of each section. It makes it faster to get the right section. I am constantly updating the front page , like when I go to the electrical section and find out the wiring diagram for the Ac is in the Accessory section.
PS: My AIM is really a zeroxed loose leaf binder.

Re: Index for the AIM (72GACRZR)
When I bought my AIM (76) I bought the additional index, I think it was $10.
I can't remember where I got it from though.

Re: Index for the AIM (stingry)
I believe the index is available on line on the 70 registry website. Haven't used it much as I also set up tabs for each section and gave them my own description.

My 75 AIM has a TOC in the front ... and that usually gets you close.
All I could find in the 70 registry was an index for technical judging.

Re: Index for the AIM (stingry)
Even though the AIM for my 75 has an index, I found it much easier to find what I'm looking for after I created my own index using dividers with tabs for each section.
