Default Going to Sell the 75

I think its time to sell the 75. My first V8 car. My first vette...

My dad brought it home one day and let me make the payments to him. I paid it off and fixed alot that was wrong with it.

I had a daily driver and it bit the dust. So I figured that instead of buying a honda for 6-9k , I would sell the vette and get something else that had power and was fun to drive.

I tried to trade it for a 93 LT1 but the corvette shop only offered me 3500 trade in for the 75. It does need paint and some interior but I think that if I sold it locally I could get 5 or so out of it. The paint is there, its just not really nice and the interior is pretty decent but needs carpet and a center bezel but the dash is not cracked or anything. Drivers seat is starting to tear a bit too. I can understand him not wanting to give me alot for it , but at the same time I think I could sell it for more locally.

I have put a new diff in it with yolks, 4 new calipers and master, new clutch, redid the cooling system (rad, pump, hoses) and it drives fairly nice now. Needs front bushings and a rear main seal among other odds and ends.

Well I kept the vette and bought a 98 Camaro Z28 with an LS1. So I have a Vette in the garage and a Camaro in the driveway. So now I have decided that the LS1 is enough for me.

I think its time to sell the vette  I will pry post it in the forsale section and get pics up. Although I think I will have alot better shot at selling it thru the local paper. Im thinking that I can list it for $7500 obo and see what I can come up with.

Over price it then accept offers. It is the way cars are sold. :)

If the '75 is largely original, 7500 would be a fair asking price here in NY!
