Australian Corvette Convention-Forum Gathering?
With over 200 Vettes registered for the Australian Corvette Convention in Melbourne over Easter (biggest ever! ) How many of the Forum Members are attending?
Aussiejohn and myself are definitely there, Expecting Brutus, Chris O, Secret Squirrel and the rest to be there as well.
We are having the show and Shine at Albert Park Lake in Pit Lane (Formula one track)on the Saturday and head down to The GM proving ground on the Sunday for the driving events.
If we can organise ourselves on Friday night we can either party there and then or on Saturday night.( Zero blood alcohol required Sunday morning though)
Aussie! Aussie! Aussie!

I am bringing STINGRY home in a couple of years. Put me down for the 2006 event.
Till then have fun and drive safe.
Cheers,
Pete

My 70 stingray is in Darwin. With a 3.7 rear and a 12/1 454 it might be a bit expensive to drive the 4000km (2500 miles).
Have fun

Fish,
Check out http://www.corvettesofmelbourne.com
C.O.M. and Vic Vettes are the host clubs for this year's event and it travels to a different state capital each year.
Any profit from this year's convention goes to the Good Friday appeal in aid of the Royal Children's Hospital.

What a shame, Another Kiwi can't come to Oz!
Seriously, it would have been good if we had some international participants but they are all unable to come.
Even tried to get Lars to bring the "Tuning for Beer" tour out. His Favorite Aussie beer is VB.
