Sad thing is, he probably turned down 100 offers over the last 15 years. Back when the car WAS salvagable. Turned em down because he was "going to restore it some day".

I think you hit the nail on the head. No telling how many people tried to buy this thing. What a shame.

I love those 2nd gen f bodies. I used to have a '73. I have looked at many over the years, some burried in barn lots and such, but i think this one takes the record! $1200...wow. Its gone, motor.tranny, rear gear is all thats salvagable. The top is rusted out since it has a vinyl soft top on it..they are notorious for that. The trunk lid has holes in it, and the front end is smashed. Fifteen years sitting in the dirt has ruined the subframe and the floor, the frot end and will will probably fall off when they hook onto it to move it! Abd the inteior..wow, fifteen years of mice crap...that is going to stink beyond repair..even the metal will stink after you remove all the crap...let alone the health hazard of inhaling that stuff!
Everybody is right...its a shame it sat so long, and went to total junk, it could have been a very restorable car at one time!
