Default What's it worth?

I've got an original 1969 radio? It's it rather good condition. Could probaby use new ***** because they're faded a little bit. Just wondering I'm probably going to get rid of it. Thanks for any help.

JAmes

If it's from the 69 you just bought you should keep it and put it away somewhere. If and when you sell the car it may be a good selling point to have original parts available with the sale. Those NCRS types place an awful lot of importance in - original to the particular car - parts. I'm not sure whether radios are dated and numbered but I wouldn't take the chance. They're probably not worth much except to someone trying to do an NCRS restoration and needs a period correct radio. Plenty of people wish they still had their original alternator, water pump, etc that they tossed when they replaced it. Ive had my 70 for 33 years and I shudder when I think that I didn't keep my original block when I had the engine rebuilt in 80.
