Default OT: Read if you're looking for a tool chest.

I'll be moving into my first house soon and I'm planning the shop. Stumbled accross this tool chest at CostCo and I think the value can't be beat:

http://direct.hammerhead.bz/popup_image.php?pID=42

Specs:

All T-304 stainless steel
Massive. 430lbs!
Gas charged assistence on top lid.
All ball bearing slides.
Liners included.

Best part: CostCo has them right now for $599! If you've looked in to snap-on lately you'll know what a bargain that is, and this one is every bit as nice.

I checked it out yesterday in person and the quality is great. Currently sitting in my apartment garage until I get access to the house next week.

Groilet (sp) has a 'tollbox' that basically covers one wall. They show a guy sleeping in a drawer!

NOT $500 tho...

that's pretty slick. I've been looking for one. Sears wants a grand for something like that.

"Hammerhead". Yeah, not a brand you've heard of, but the quality is there. They even do all seamless welds which is a really nice touch on a tool chest.

Sharkworks, right? They were showing those at the SEMA show. They're pretty spendy, but it won't set you back as much as a comparable painted Snap-On box.

Nice box. Stainless .. wow !

Good price, too.
As I read the specs, I was thinking about $1500.
