the vette im tryin to buy from a friend is a 69 convertible with a l36 engine(i think) and has options like ac(doenst work but has all the parts) factory side exhaust, not sure which muncie it has, but is fourspeed, its numbers matching. the paint is a diff color and the wheels are 82 ce wheels. there are pics of the car here: http://f2.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/bob...ette/my_photos he said hed sell it for 20k. the car is in very very nice shape, but engine bay needs some cleaning. so just wanted to see what any one else thought. thanks! - Bob

everything works with the exceptoin of the ac and mirrors are not stock mirrors

those side pipes don't look orgainal, if your planes are for a nice driver car to drive, then I would buy it it sounds fair :chevy

It might even be a good car if you eventually plan to take it back to original. Other than the obvious stuff that's aftermarket (wheels, paint, pipes), it looks mostly intact. Even some stuff that tends to get stripped out over the years (the seal on top of the radiator, the air cleaner, etc) look original or at least correct. $20K is a good price if it's as good as it looks and has no rust.

I didn't even look at that photo. Took too long to load 'em one at a time, so I took your word for it!

If they are original pipes, it definitely makes it worth more. Does he have any paperwork on the car (tank sticker, protect o plate, window sticker)?
