Default Braided Plug wire grounding?

Hi All,

Installing some steel braided plug wires this glorious Saturday afternoon. The instructions indicate that these wires have to be grounded to the engine. Can I run the ground wires to the chrome valve cover bolts? If not, where/what should I ground these wires to? The ground wires that come with the plug wires are pretty short, so it looks like they should go to the valve covers...

Thanks!

Greg

That's where they go.

:iagree: The stock configuration is two grounding wires to every other valve cover bolt rather than one wire to each bolt. If I remember right, it's to the 1st & 3rd on the driver's side, 2nd & 4th on the passenger.

[EDIT: whoops, you've got a '77, so there's no "stock" configuration.]
