Engine Temperature Sending Unit
1971 350/270, All my parts catalogs list the engine temperature sending unit for the 71 as having the thumb tack style terminal. Mine has a peg style terminal. I checked the wiring harness to see if it was bubbatized but appears to be stock. No splices. What gives?

Re: Engine Temperature Sending Unit (Tom Johnson)
.......the peg type fitting is the original style.......you can get this one at Ecklers:
......the thumb tack fittings will work as long as they are calibrated to the gauge.........

Re: Engine Temperature Sending Unit (standup)
Thanks standup. The Ecklers catalog list it as a flat top terminal with no pic which I took as a thumb tack style terminal. Gonna have to use those online catalogs with them purty pictures.
