Hey guys! has anyone in the UK replaced their A/C compressor recently??

.... if so, where did you get your's from?
The last time i bought one (i have broken two already!) i just ordered a reconditioned unit through a parts shop which imported it for me.... but i'm wondering if there are any companies which recondition units here in the uk??

although, you are down south,
took mine off, i'll just take the roof off when it gets too hot,,,,,probably once a year,

.... but things do get a bit too toasty on those occasional hot days we have (about 4 a year)

That's what I thought, so I ripped all mine out at the start of last year. Then we got a heatwave for the summer & the hottest day on record :)

You could also try Corvette Kingdom in Norfolk.

i remember that really hot week,
the only week of the year my vette was on axle stands waiting for the new trailing arms from van steel,,,, :banghead:
boy were they nice when they arrived, very quick shipping, great service from the guys there,
