Now THIS Is Awsome (Camaro)
Attention to detail, superb leather upolstry, undercarriage awsome, billet everywhere, and of coarse who can argue with an LT-1 engine!

disc simulators
No doubt about it the car is beautifully done but when I saw the disc simulators I stopped looking. I hate anything fake. I mean anything. Go to all that expense and detail and fake the discs???

It's a nice custom built rod, like someone said an orginal would be hard pressed to get that price, it's a 30 large car that's it :D

Re: Now THIS Is Awsome (GrandSportC3)
I'm the guy really kicking myself now! I had a 69 "X33" code RS Z/28 with JL8 disc brakes and a factory Xram set-up. I lost interest in my Z and enjoyed racing my 1972 LT-1 Vette. My Z sat neglected for 10yrs and My wife marvelled of the pictures I have of it at Riverside Int'l Raceway and other events. The car had an excellent body, Recaro seats (I was one of the original Pro Touring guys!) and most of the rare factory options including: V75 liquid tire chain (The rarest! Camaro option, I found mine in a 427 Impala at the wrecking yard.) 3-4 years ago I was offered $24K for the car as it sat, I sold, prices have done nothing but skyrocket! since then. I still like my LT-1 way better than my 302 Z/28 (even more so after I put the Xram on it and destroyed the throttle response!) I know my LT-1 will never be worth what the old Z/28 was (even though my LT-1 cannot be counterfited like many Camaros I see at the auctions today, buyer BEWARE!) I am still glad I own my LT-1 (bought it for $10.5K, paid $3500 for my Z in 1977) because it is a way better driving and performing car! $80K for a Camaro seems like STUPID MONEY to me but, then again I must be the STUPID ONE! for not keeping my Z/28 (have lots of good pictures and memories.) This should be a warning to all you LT-1 owners to sell ASAP as I don't make good decisions on automotive values but, am keeping my LT-1 for better or worse. I would take $80K and build a L88 roadster clone or something similar, or buy a nice pair of LT-1 Vettes (1 roadster, 1 coupe) rather than sinking it into a Camaro, better yet, a nice Vette and the rest of the money for time off of work to enjoy it! Chevy had it right in 1968 when the Camaro ad slogan was: Next Best Thing to a Vette Yet! I'll make mine a fiberglass sports car! rather than a passenger car. I've owned and worked on both types of cars for over 20 years and I know what I like!

That is one hot machine...
Granted the price is out of control, but look real close...
There is not a flaw anywhere, and I'll bet it's fast as hell.
Nice job. Updated, yet classic. :steering:

Re: Now THIS Is Awsome (stickboy)
if i had 150,000 to spend, i would buy this two story building that i've been looking at to open my small shop and live, then i'd drop about 10,000 into my 77 vette, and then pay off my college loans and business loans, then i buy about 20 kangol hats and a few more pairs of puma shoes with fat laces...... i'd have about 30,000 left.....that would go in the bank.........
