Default A/C Hose Replacement

Now that my paint and interior projects are finished, its time to turn to the A/C. I just bought a new hose from 'The Last Detail' auto parts, and it matches the hose that's in my car. My I look in my '77 GM service manual, it lists the CCOT for every car but the Corvette, but all the catalogs lists the late 77's and the 78 L-48 as having the CCOT. Since the hose looks the same (from the part of it I can see) I'm going to go with it. The compressor connection and the condenser connections look pretty straight-forward, but I can't even see the last connection ( whether its the accumulator, VIR, or EEVIR according to the manual). Has anyone changed this hose, and is there any tips WRT this 3rd connection?

Thanks, Mike
