Default Anyone bend their own transmission modulator line?

My TH400 was missing the transmission modulator line, so I had to order a new one. The problem is that it comes unbent. Anyone have any tips on how to bend it correctly? I have nothing to go by except that I know it goes from the transmission modulator to the intake for a vacuum source. Do I just eyeball it the best I can and take up the slack with longer rubber vaccum hose? Also, one end of it has what the description refers to as a restriction that acts as a metered orifice. Does this restricted end go closest to the intake or to the modulator?

I'm confused. I don't think my TH400 has a vacuum line.

It has an electric kickdown switch.

The metered orfice goes to the modulator. You can have someone hold one end of the line and then roll it out on the floor.

I can send you a picture of the line off my 72. I just cleaned it up and clear coated it. There are several bends to it,I'm surprised they it wasn't prebent?

I bent mine, the AIM manual has a decent illustration of how it's supposed to look. It also straps to the bell housing just above the starter if I remember correctly. Mine was steel, made from over the counter material at the auto parts store (probably about 5 bucks) You will ned a fairly decent lever handle bender to do the job.
