Paint balled Vette
I was on my way home from the girlfriends house and I got on the freeway when I heard "POP" I figured I just hit something small on the road "POP, POP, POP" I look in my rearview mirror and see paint ball marks on my back window of my 79 Vette then I see this guy take off in some small P.O.S. car. So I followed him got a good view of his plate number and called the CHP. He faked getting off the freeway but that didnt matter I had the police on the phone and his plate number.
For those guys who paint balled my car here's where you went wrong:
1. Don't hit a car that can out run yours
2. Don't let the driver see your face
3. Don't let them get close enough to read your plate
4. Don't use your signal when changing lanes (it doesnt help you get away)
Yes, I got paitballed on the freeway.... and yes those guy's were that stupid

Screw the CHP. :smash: I would have seen where they lived and taken it from there. Don't think they would be much of anything anymore.

Let us know what happens with those %^&$heads. Those paint ***** hit with some force, lucky it didn't knock out a window. Expect the police to come down hard on those kids.

Hope you didn't get any damage!
What kind of dumb **** would do a thing like that?
:mad
I'd press charges and also sue him for damages. Even if he didn't do any damage, I'm sure you could find a paint chip here or there that you wouldn't mind having fixed.

I'd hate to see a waste of space like that just shrug it of and keep on.

You have his license plate number... which means you have his name and address should you choose to want it.
If it were me, I'd pay him a visit.

:iagree: I'd also be VERY hard presed to leave these "folks" for the CHP ..... I'd probably end up on the 6 O'clock news!

I know the feeling!!!!!!! We were coming home one night from a cruise and some idiot on a feeder road beside the Interstate we were on threw an EGG and hit my right rear quarter! Sounded like a shotgun!! And I was running about 70 mph! Luckily there was no damage and I got it off at the next exit about a half mile away. Ran down the HP, told them, they went hunting and so did I. Didn't find them so I consider them very lucky!!!!!

If you were going down to San Diego to train to be a Marine you might learn a little Recon action...locate, close with and destroy or neutralize the enemy.
I'd envision a simple mission where we go in, make some minor adjustments on their paint ball guns, and leave without a trace, 'cept for a curious little memento like, in your case, a crossed-flag emblem. It will all makes sense to the enemy when the little paint ball gun blows up in his face the next time he goes out for a little fun. We’ve neutralized the enemy, his weapon and maybe scared a couple of his cohorts' straight…
Seriously, from a Vet with a Vette, thanks for serving, good luck in the Air Force. From a ground guy, next best thing to Marine Air on station is a B1 or B52 doing a little prep work pounding a grid before we crossed the LOD...helps keep the bad guy in a box so we can close with and destroy. :smash:

Good job getting the plate. Shooting paint ***** at the public can be a firearms violation here in MA. Make them go to court. Waste their time and money. Put them in the police computer so they can get hassled next time they are pulled over.
Keep us posted.
