Received My Third Rebuilt Chrome AC Compressor Today
The first two leaked at the front seal. Of course, the car is now back in the paint shop for at least ten days while they try to blow off the fish eyes. Basically, they are gonna wet sand again and apply more clear coat.
He said one of his compressors had some contamination and that was the source of the fish eyes. So, I guess you live and learn in this hobby.
Painter knows what I expect; he now seems almost afraid not to produce it. I hope to live long enough to get this car right. :)
