Default TH400 TCS switch Question

I'm getting back to rebuilding the TH400. I have it apart and cleaned, ready for unit rebuilding and assembly. The 2 prong TCS switch in the case,is it best to leave it or switch to an earlier non-TCS switch? I will not be using this system. It is wired to a soleniod in the valve body.
Thanks,
Gary

If memory serves correctly, it simply activated the TCS solenoid on the intake when the trans shifted into high gear, allowing vacuum to to distributor. If you have eliminated the solenoid and/or disconnected the wiring, it should do no harm in leaving it in place. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
