Ecklers Metal Center Caps - How to tighten up the fit?
I just got a set of metal ralley center caps and they don't seem to fit as tight as I would like. I'm a little worried about having them come off.
Anyone suggest how I can tighten them up?

The last guy who had my car used silicon but I wouldn't recommend it.
I would return those and find a different supplier.
If you really must keep them then get a set of offset long nose pliers (look like a letter L) and start bending carefully the inside lip of the rallye cover that slides over the dimples on the wheel. You are trying to make the internal diameter smaller so it is an interference fit.
You can also buy pieces of those centre caps, they are actually two pieces. Can you re-use a piece of an old one you have to make it work.
