Re: Roll Cages (71coupe)
I bought my rollbar from Jegs in kit form. It is a weld in bar though that's completely behind the seats so it doesn't affect getting in & out of the car at all. All rollbars/ cages can be cut off the frames & groung down smooth again if you wnated to ever turn it back to stock, so even though it's welded, it's still does not have to be permanant ;)

Re: Roll Cages (82Red)
I will have my 6-point rollbar made locally.. The ones that are pre-made don't allow convertible top operation...

Re: Roll Cages (RUXperienced)
depends on the times you want to run and the size/thickness of the tubing. also if you go past 10.99 (i think?) yor welds have to be certified.

Can a rollbar be converted to a legal (SCCA/NHRA whatever) cage later on?

GSC3 - Can you post pics on this as it progresses? I'm thinking about the same thing for my 71.
The rollbar is supposed to go in late April / early May...
