Default Paint Prep Question

I am planning to paint the underside of my hood with semi black and the wiper bay area with the same. For the hood I was going to clean with simple green and lightly sand some spots. Anything else needed? Primer? High temp paint? I was going to use general Krylon spray can paint.

For the wiper area, clean with simple green and paint. I am a little worried about peeling here since the surface is rough and hard to get real clean. Tips?

After washing with simple green I would wipe the area down with wax and grease remover as Lars suggest in his painting instruction paper. PPG suppliers carry it, if you were close I would let you use the half gallon I have left. It doesn't take much.
