Default Best $25 I ever spent

I picked up a Mitivac hand held vacuum pump at Auto Zone and put it to the task at hand....seeing if there were any leaks.
Knowing how prone these systems are to leaks, I was sure mine was OK because the headlights pop right up, within a second of each other, the wiper door opens promptly, the a/c distribution does it's thing there under the dash just fine, etc.

First of all, it found a small leak in my vacuum modulator at the tranny. I pumped it to 10Hg., and sure enough it leaked down-slowly, but a leak non the less.
I hooked it to one of the vac lines going to the headlight, and it would not budge the needle....sure enough, the other end of the hose was split where it goes on the relay! Mind you, the headlight were working fine, so either it was a small leak, or the system is not that fussy ;)

I'll finish playing with it tomorrow!!!!

PS--Does anyone have an early C-3 vacuum diagram they could e mail me, or, even better, a PDF file????
I sure would appreciate it!!!
